Ice maker runs continuously without cycling properly; ice size does not change and machine does not enter harvest mode.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before checking sensors or wiring.

• Reset control: Unplug for 15 minutes and restart to clear any temporary software lockup.
• Check thickness sensor: Inspect and clean the ice thickness sensor. Ensure it is correctly positioned and not shorted to the evaporator plate.
• Inspect wiring: Look for damaged insulation or pinched sensor wires that could cause a constant low-resistance reading.
• Test sensor resistance: Measure the sensor at room temperature and compare to expected NTC values. Replace if readings are abnormal.
• Replace PCB if needed: If sensors and wiring are correct but the unit never enters harvest, the control PCB may be defective and require replacement.
