Possible Causes
Defective water flow meter, Blocked flow sensor wheel, Air in water line, Loose sensor wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off water and disconnect power before servicing the water circuit.
Flow sensor checks:
- Bleed air: Turn off the unit, then slowly open the water supply to purge air. Restart and observe if the error returns.
- Locate flow meter: On many Siemens models, the flow meter is installed in-line between the inlet valve and reservoir. Remove the cover to access it.
- Inspect for debris: Disconnect the hoses and check the internal wheel or turbine for scale or debris. Rinse gently with clean water.
- Check wiring: Ensure the flow meter connector is secure and wires are not damaged.
- Replace flow meter: If the sensor does not register flow despite good water supply, replace the flow meter with a Siemens-approved part.
