Ice maker leaking water onto the floor from underneath

Safety: Immediately disconnect power and close the water supply valve to prevent flooding and electrical hazards.

Leak isolation:

• Inspect rear connections: Check the Siemens water inlet hose connection at the rear of the unit for drips. Tighten the coupling and replace any damaged washers.
• Check hose condition: Replace any hose that shows bulging, cracking, or abrasion.
• Internal inspection: Remove the lower front or rear panel and look for water trails from the reservoir, pump, or internal tubing. Replace cracked reservoirs or fittings.
• Clear drain: Ensure the drain hose and tray are not blocked, causing overflow.

After repair: Dry the base pan completely and monitor for new leaks during the next few cycles.
