Ice maker will not start at all, but interior light works and display is on

Restoring operation:

• Check control lock: Look for a lock symbol on the display. Press and hold the designated key combination (see Siemens manual) to unlock.
• Verify mode: Ensure the unit is not in cleaning, demo, or vacation mode. Set to normal ice production.
• Bin status: Remove and reinstall the ice bin correctly. Clean the bin sensor or switch.
• On/off switch: Toggle the main power or ice production switch off and on. If the switch feels loose or intermittent, it may need replacement.
