How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect the ice maker from mains power before inspection.
- Check outlet: Plug another appliance into the same outlet to verify stable power. Avoid using long extension cords.
- Inspect power cord: Examine the cord for cuts, burns, or kinks. Replace the cord set if damaged.
- Access PCB: Remove the rear panel and inspect the power input section of the main control PCB for burnt components or cracked solder joints.
- Reseat connectors: Ensure the power input connector is firmly seated on the board.
- Replace PCB: If E16 persists and there are signs of power supply failure, replace the main control PCB. Mains-side repairs on the PCB should not be attempted by unqualified persons.
