Possible Causes
Misadjusted ice thickness sensor, stuck water level float, control PCB timing error
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the ice maker before adjustments.
- Check ice size setting: Verify the selected ice size on the control panel. Set to a smaller size and observe results.
- Adjust thickness probe: Locate the ice thickness sensor/probe and adjust it closer to the evaporator per Tower’s specification to reduce cube thickness.
- Inspect float: Ensure the water level float moves freely and is not stuck in the high position. Clean any mineral buildup.
- Control board: If cubes remain oversized despite correct settings and adjustments, the main control PCB may be mis-timing the cycle and could require replacement.
