Ice maker is very noisy during operation (grinding, rattling, or buzzing sounds).

Safety: Unplug the unit before tightening or adjusting components.

• Identify noise source: Run the unit briefly and listen from different sides to locate the noise (fan area, compressor area, ice compartment).
• Check fan assembly: Inspect the condenser and evaporator fans for loose blades or obstructions. Tighten screws and remove any foreign objects.
• Secure panels: Tighten all cabinet screws and add foam or rubber pads where panels vibrate against each other.
• Inspect ice sweep arm: Ensure the sweep/ejector arm is not bent and does not strike the housing. Straighten or replace if damaged.
• Compressor mounts: Check rubber grommets under the compressor. Replace if hardened or cracked to reduce vibration.
