Ice maker runs but produces very small or hollow ice cubes.

Safety: Unplug the unit and turn off water supply (if plumbed) before disassembly.

• Check water level: Ensure the reservoir is filled to the correct mark. Refill as needed.
• Clean water distributor: Remove the top water distribution tray and clean all holes with a soft brush and vinegar solution to restore even water flow.
• Descale evaporator: Gently clean the evaporator plate with a non-abrasive cloth and descaling solution approved for ice makers. Rinse thoroughly.
• Inspect inlet valve/filter: For plumbed models, clean the inlet filter screen and replace the inlet valve if water flow remains weak.
