Ice maker produces ice, but cubes are very small or hollow.

Steps to improve cube size:

• Fill reservoir: Ensure the water tank is filled to the indicated max line with clean, preferably filtered water.
• Clean water system: Remove the ice basket and water tray. Clean the water distribution tube and nozzles with a soft brush to remove blockages.
• Descale evaporator: Run a cleaning cycle with a recommended descaling solution to remove mineral deposits from the evaporator plate.
• Adjust thickness (if available): Some Tristar models allow adjusting cube size via the control panel or a small trim pot on the control board. Follow the user manual to increase ice thickness slightly.
• Check thickness sensor: Ensure the Tristar ice thickness probe is clean and correctly positioned.
