Possible Causes
Failing internal power supply on control board, Loose display ribbon cable, Intermittent power cord connection, Overloaded outlet or extension cord
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the ice maker before accessing the control panel.
Steps:
- 1. Plug directly into wall: Avoid using extension cords or power strips; plug the Vremi ice maker directly into a grounded wall outlet.
- 2. Check power cord: Wiggle the cord gently at the unit and outlet (with power off) to see if there is any looseness. Replace the power cord assembly if suspect.
- 3. Reseat display cable: Remove the top/front panel and reseat the ribbon cable between the display and main board.
- 4. Replace control board: If flickering persists and other components behave normally, the main control board may have a failing power supply and should be replaced.
Note: Persistent dimming can precede complete control failure; address early to avoid downtime.
