Ice cubes are very small, thin, or hollow; ice basket fills with weak, quickly melting cubes.

Safety: Unplug the ice maker before cleaning internal components.

Steps:

• 1. Check water level: Fill the reservoir to the MAX line with clean, preferably filtered water. Ensure the tank is seated correctly.
• 2. Clean pump inlet and tray: Remove the reservoir and clean the pump intake screen and the ice-making tray with warm water and vinegar to remove mineral deposits.
• 3. Clean evaporator: Wipe the evaporator plate gently with a soft cloth and descaling solution to remove scale that can cause early ice release.
• 4. Inspect thickness sensor: Ensure the ice thickness sensor probe is correctly positioned and free of scale. Clean and realign if necessary.

Tip: Using filtered or distilled water reduces scale buildup and improves ice quality.
