Ice maker makes ice very slowly; production is much lower than normal and cubes may be small or hollow.

Safety: Unplug the unit before cleaning or removing panels.

Steps:

• 1. Improve ventilation: Ensure at least 6 inches (15 cm) of clearance around the unit and keep it away from ovens, dishwashers, or direct sunlight.
• 2. Clean condenser: Remove the rear cover and vacuum dust from the condenser coils and fan guard. Use compressed air if available.
• 3. Check fan operation: Confirm the condenser fan motor runs whenever the compressor is on. Replace if weak or intermittent.
• 4. Room temperature: Move the unit to a cooler room if ambient temperature is above 90°F (32°C). High ambient temps reduce ice output.
