How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.
Steps to fix unresponsive buttons:
- Dry the panel: Wipe off any moisture on the control surface. Allow the unit to sit unplugged to dry if condensation is suspected.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and reseat the ribbon cable or connector between the keypad and main board.
- Check for damage: Look for cracks or wear on the keypad overlay. Replace the control panel or keypad assembly if damaged.
- Replace display board: If wiring is good but buttons still do not respond, replace the display/control board.
