• Inspect water quality: Hard water can cause scale buildup. Use filtered water if possible.
• Clean water system: Run a cleaning cycle with a manufacturer-approved cleaner or a mild vinegar solution, then flush thoroughly.
• Check inlet valve (plumbed models): Ensure the water supply valve is fully open and the inlet screen is not clogged. Clean or replace the inlet valve if flow is restricted.
• Adjust thickness sensor: If your model allows, slightly increase the ice thickness setting so the freeze cycle runs longer.
