Check for ice jams: Inspect the ice tray and harvest mechanism for stuck or oversized ice. Remove any obstructions.
Inspect fan: Check the condenser and any internal fans for loose blades or contact with wiring or panels. Tighten mounting screws and reposition wires.
Examine motor gears: If the noise occurs during harvest, remove the motor cover and inspect gears for wear or missing teeth. Replace the motor/gear assembly if damaged.
Reassemble and test: After corrections, run a cycle to confirm the noise is resolved.
