Microwave beeps repeatedly after cycle completion and will not stop beeping until a button is pressed.

This is typically normal behavior but can often be adjusted.

• Check sound settings:
  • Consult the Black+Decker manual for your model to see if the end-of-cycle beep count or volume can be changed.
• Silence or reduce beeps:
  • Some models allow muting by holding 0 or SOUND for several seconds.

If beeping is erratic or occurs randomly, the control board or keypad may be faulty and should be inspected.
