dE
Microwave displays dE or DE and will not start; often appears when the door is not fully closed.
Door error / door not properly closed
E1
Microwave beeps and displays E1 immediately after pressing START; cooking does not begin.
Keypad or control panel communication fault
E2
Microwave displays E2 and stops heating shortly after starting a cook cycle.
Temperature sensor or cavity overheat fault
E3
Microwave shows E3 and will not start or stops mid-cycle without heating.
Magnetron or high-voltage system fault
E4
Microwave displays E4 and beeps; turntable may rotate but no heating occurs.
Humidity sensor / steam sensor fault
E5
Microwave shows E5 and will not start; sometimes appears after a power surge or outage.
Control board power supply or relay fault
E6
Microwave displays E6 and will not start; sometimes occurs when door is opened or closed.
Door switch or door sensing circuit fault
E7
Microwave shows E7 and stops; turntable may not rotate and fan may not run.
Turntable motor or motor drive circuit fault
E8
Microwave displays E8 and will not start; sometimes appears after setting the clock or using timer functions.
Control logic or EEPROM configuration fault
E9
Microwave shows E9 and stops; interior light may stay on or off unexpectedly.
Door sensing / safety interlock logic fault
F1
Microwave displays F1 and beeps; may not respond to keypad inputs.
Internal control board fault
F2
Microwave displays F2 and may stop mid-cycle; keypad may still respond.
Overheat or sensor circuit fault
F3
Microwave displays F3 and will not start; often associated with sensor cooking modes.
Shorted temperature or humidity sensor
F4
Microwave displays F4 and may shut down during operation.
Open temperature sensor or thermostat
F5
Microwave displays F5 and will not start; sometimes appears after repeated door operations.
Door switch monitoring fault
H0
Microwave displays H0 or HO and will not start; sometimes associated with child lock or demo mode.
Child lock or demo mode indication (not a hardware fault)
PF
Microwave displays PF or P-0 after a power outage; clock is reset.
Power failure indication
SE
Microwave displays SE (or 5E) and beeps continuously; keypad may be unresponsive.
Stuck key or shorted keypad fault
Symptom
Microwave beeps repeatedly after cycle completion and will not stop beeping until a button is pressed.
End-of-cycle alert behavior
Symptom
Microwave cavity has condensation or water droplets after cooking, especially when heating liquids.
Normal condensation / ventilation concern
Symptom
Microwave clock resets to 0:00 or 12:00 randomly without a known power outage.
Intermittent power or control board reset
Symptom
Microwave display is dim, flickering, or partially missing segments.
Display module or control board failure
Symptom
Microwave display works but pressing START does nothing; timer does not count down.
Start circuit or door interlock not engaging
Symptom
Microwave does not start at all; display is blank and no lights or sounds when door is opened.
No power / primary power failure
Symptom
Microwave door will not open or is stuck closed after cooking.
Door latch mechanism jammed
Symptom
Microwave door will not stay closed; it pops open slightly or does not latch.
Door not latching / latch misalignment
Symptom
Microwave emits a burning smell or smoke from vents during or after use.
Overheating or component burning
Symptom
Microwave fan runs but there is little or no airflow from the front or top vents (OTR models).
Ventilation airflow restriction or fan installation issue
Symptom
Microwave interior light does not turn on when cooking, but unit heats normally.
Interior light failure
Symptom
Microwave interior light turns on, fan runs, but turntable does not rotate.
Turntable drive failure
Symptom
Microwave is excessively noisy during operation (rattling, grinding, or vibration).
Mechanical vibration or fan/turntable noise
Symptom
Microwave keypad buttons are unresponsive or only some keys work intermittently.
Keypad contact failure
Symptom
Microwave light and display work, but pressing any button results in a long beep and no action.
Control lock (child lock) enabled
Symptom
Microwave light and fan run, but the turntable rotates intermittently or jerks.
Intermittent turntable drive or mechanical obstruction
Symptom
Microwave produces sparks or arcing inside the cavity during cooking.
Cavity arcing / waveguide contamination
Symptom
Microwave runs but does not heat food; turntable rotates and light is on, but food remains cold.
No heating / high-voltage system failure
Symptom
Microwave runs but makes a loud humming or buzzing noise, louder than normal, sometimes accompanied by a burning smell.
High-voltage component mechanical/electrical noise
Symptom
Microwave runs with the door open or starts when the door is closed without pressing START.
Door interlock safety failure
Symptom
Microwave stops mid-cycle and resets or goes blank, then comes back on by itself.
Intermittent power loss or overheating protection
