Microwave is excessively noisy during operation (rattling, grinding, or vibration).

• Check installation surface:
  • Ensure the microwave sits level on a stable surface.
  • Place a thin rubber mat under countertop models to reduce vibration.
• Inspect turntable system:
  • Remove and clean the tray and roller ring.
  • Replace a damaged roller ring.
• Tighten cabinet screws:
  • Check and tighten screws on the outer cabinet and mounting brackets (for OTR models).

If noise persists and seems to come from inside the unit (fan or transformer area), have a technician inspect the cooling fan motor and internal mounts.
