How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the microwave before working on the control panel.
- Dry thoroughly: If the panel has been exposed to steam or cleaning sprays, leave the unit unplugged for 12–24 hours to dry.
- Clean surface: Wipe the keypad with a slightly damp cloth and then dry. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the panel.
- If ghosting continues: Replace the membrane keypad or entire control panel assembly. If a new keypad does not fix it, the control board may also need replacement.
