Possible Causes

Failed turntable motor, Jammed turntable coupler, Broken turntable drive, Faulty motor wiring or connector

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the microwave before working underneath or inside the cabinet.

  • Step 1 – Check for mechanical obstruction: Remove the glass tray and roller ring. Inspect the turntable coupler for food debris or broken plastic. Clean thoroughly and ensure the coupler sits correctly on the motor shaft.
  • Step 2 – Test rotation: With the tray removed, run the microwave briefly (with a cup of water) and observe if the coupler turns. If it does not move or moves intermittently, proceed to motor checks.
  • Step 3 – Access the motor: Remove the bottom cover (if accessible) or the outer cabinet to reach the turntable motor. Check that the motor is firmly mounted and that wires are intact.
  • Step 4 – Electrical test: Disconnect the motor and measure its resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed motor. Replace with a Severin-compatible turntable motor of the same voltage and shaft type.
  • Step 5 – Reassemble and test: Refit the bottom cover, roller ring, and tray. Test operation. If E07 still appears, the control board’s motor drive circuit may be faulty.
