Microwave shows E16 and the child lock feature may not function correctly or is stuck on.

Steps:

• 1. Disable child lock: On most Vida models, press and hold the STOP/CANCEL or a specific key combination (refer to your manual) for 3–5 seconds to toggle child lock.
• 2. Power reset: Unplug the microwave for 5 minutes, then plug back in and try toggling child lock again.
• 3. Clean keypad: Wipe the keypad with a slightly damp cloth and then dry thoroughly to remove any conductive residue.

If E16 persists and child lock cannot be toggled, the control PCB or keypad may be faulty and require replacement.
