Vida Start Key / Input Logic Failure

Microwave display works but the START button does nothing; other buttons may beep normally.

Possible Causes

Worn START key on membrane keypad, Dirty or damaged keypad contacts, Faulty control PCB input circuit, Child lock enabled

Steps:

1. Check child lock: Look for a lock icon on the display. Disable child lock using the key combination in your Vida manual (often holding STOP/CANCEL for several seconds).
2. Try alternate start: Some models have multiple START keys (e.g., quick start). Test them.
3. Clean keypad: Wipe the keypad surface and dry thoroughly.
4. Panel replacement: If only the START key fails while others work, the membrane keypad is likely worn and should be replaced.
