Visible sparks or arcing inside the microwave cavity during cooking.

Safety: Press STOP and unplug the microwave immediately when you see sparks.

Steps:

• 1. Remove metal: Take out any metal utensils, twist ties, or foil. Use only microwave-safe containers.
• 2. Clean thoroughly: Wipe the interior walls, ceiling, and floor with a mild detergent solution to remove grease and burnt-on food. Dry completely.
• 3. Inspect waveguide cover: If the cover is burned, bubbled, or has holes, it must be replaced before further use.
