Possible Causes
Open heating element, Failed heater relay or triac on PCB, Disconnected heater wiring, Blown thermal fuse
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and allow it to cool before opening the base.
- Check for warmth: After starting a program for a few minutes, carefully feel the outside of the base. If completely cold, the heater is not energizing.
- Inspect wiring: Remove the bottom cover and verify that heater wires are securely connected to the element and PCB.
- Test heater and fuse (technician): Use a multimeter to check continuity of the heating element and thermal fuse. Replace any open components.
- Replace PCB relay/triac: If the heater and fuse are intact, the switching device on the PCB is likely faulty and the PCB should be replaced.
