Possible Causes
Inner pot not seated correctly, Debris or burnt residue between pot and sensor plate, Deformed inner pot base, Faulty NTC temperature sensor under heating plate
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the Binatone multicooker and allow it to cool completely before touching the inner pot or base.
- Check inner pot seating: Remove the inner pot, wipe the bottom dry and clean, then reseat it firmly so it sits flat on the heating plate. Make sure it is the original Binatone pot and not a warped or third‑party pot.
- Clean sensor area: Inspect the center of the heating plate where the spring‑loaded temperature sensor pin is located. Gently wipe away any burnt food, oil, or debris with a soft cloth. Do not scratch the aluminum plate.
- Check sensor movement: Press the small center pin down gently; it should move freely and spring back. If it is stuck, carefully clean around it. Do not use excessive force.
- Test again: Reinstall the pot, close the lid, plug in, and select a basic program (e.g., RICE). If E0 persists, the NTC sensor or its wiring harness under the heating plate may be faulty and should be tested and replaced by a qualified technician.
