Possible Causes
Weak heating element, Miscalibrated temperature sensor, Faulty main control PCB, Poor contact between inner pot and heating plate
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before inspecting internal components.
- Check inner pot contact: Ensure the bottom of the inner pot is flat and not warped. A deformed pot may not transfer heat properly; replace if necessary.
- Clean heating plate: Wipe the heating plate and pot bottom to remove carbonized food or oil that can insulate heat.
- Test different modes: Try a different program (e.g., MANUAL or MULTICOOK) and increase cooking time. If all modes are weak, suspect the heater or sensor.
- Measure heater resistance (technician): Test the heating element with a multimeter. A significantly higher resistance than specified can indicate a weakened element that should be replaced.
- Sensor/PCB replacement: If the heater is good but temperatures remain low, the NTC sensor or main control PCB may be misreading temperature and should be replaced.
