Steam or water leaks from the steam release valve area even when set to SEAL.

Safety first: Do not place hands near the steam outlet while the cooker is hot or under pressure.

• Clean valve components: After cooling, remove the steam release valve and anti‑block shield. Soak in warm soapy water and scrub gently to remove starch or grease.
• Inspect silicone parts: Check the small silicone cap or gasket on the float valve for tears or deformation. Replace if worn.
• Reassemble correctly: Ensure the steam release valve is pushed fully into place and the knob is aligned with the SEAL position.
• Replace valve assembly: If steam still leaks excessively, install a new Binatone steam release/float valve kit.
