Possible Causes
Loose heating plate mounting screws, Warped inner pot causing vibration, Failing power relay on PCB, Foreign object trapped under heating plate
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and allow the cooker to cool before inspection.
- Check pot and surface: Ensure the cooker is on a stable, level surface and the inner pot is seated correctly.
- Inspect for foreign objects: Remove the inner pot and look for utensils, rice grains, or other objects on the heating plate. Remove any debris.
- Tighten mounting screws: From the bottom, tighten the screws that secure the heating plate to the chassis.
- Relay noise: Some clicking from the relay is normal, but very loud or rapid clicking may indicate a failing relay on the PCB, which should be replaced by a technician.
