How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and ensure it is cool before inspecting the heating plate.
- 1. Inspect inner pot: Place the pot on a flat countertop and check for rocking. If it does not sit flat, the pot is warped and should be replaced.
- 2. Clean heating plate: Wipe the plate and central sensor area to remove crumbs or residue. Do not scratch the surface.
- 3. Check for dents: Look for visible dents or raised areas on the plate. Minor high spots can sometimes be gently pressed back with a flat wooden block, but severe damage requires heater replacement.
- 4. Inspect support springs (advanced): From the bottom, check that the heater support springs are intact and evenly tensioned. Replace any broken springs.
