Possible Causes
Missing or clogged condensation collector cup, Sealing ring not seated evenly, Excess condensation due to high-moisture cooking, Cracked lid or body rim
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before removing external parts. Wipe up any water to prevent slipping.
- 1. Check condensation collector: Ensure the small plastic condensation cup on the side or back of the cooker is installed correctly and not full. Clean it regularly.
- 2. Inspect sealing ring seating: Remove and reinstall the silicone ring, making sure it is evenly seated all around.
- 3. Clean lid and rim: Remove any residue that could break the seal and allow steam to escape sideways.
- 4. Inspect for cracks: Look closely at the lid and body rim for hairline cracks. Replace the lid assembly if any structural damage is found.
