Possible Causes
Loose mains plug, Faulty power cord, Loose internal power connector, Failing power supply section on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before opening the housing.
- Check plug fit: Ensure the plug fits tightly in the outlet. Try a different outlet if necessary.
- Inspect cord: Flex the cord gently while the unit is on (if safe) to see if movement causes flicker. If so, replace the cord.
- Internal connectors: Remove the bottom cover and reseat all power connectors, especially those from the cord to the PCB and from the PCB to the heating element.
If flickering continues, the internal power supply on the main control PCB may be unstable and should be replaced.
