Possible Causes

Inner pot not seated correctly, Bottom NTC temperature sensor dirty or bent, Damaged NTC sensor wiring harness, Faulty main control PCB sensor input

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the Eldom multicooker and let it cool completely before touching internal parts.

  • Check inner pot seating: Remove the inner pot, wipe the bottom dry and clean, then reseat it firmly so it makes full contact with the central heating plate and sensor area.
  • Clean sensor area: Look at the small raised metal or disc area in the center of the heating plate (bottom NTC sensor contact). Gently clean it with a soft dry cloth. Remove any burnt food, oil, or debris.
  • Inspect for deformation: Check that the heating plate and sensor contact are flat and not bent. If the plate is warped, the sensor may not detect the pot correctly.
  • Power reset: Plug the unit back in, select a simple program (e.g. "Rice" or "Steam") and press START. If E0 persists, unplug again.
  • Internal inspection (advanced): With the unit unplugged, remove the bottom cover (usually several screws). Locate the NTC sensor wires from the center of the heating plate to the main PCB. Check for loose connectors, broken wires, or burnt spots. Reseat connectors firmly.

If the error remains after these steps, the NTC sensor or main control PCB is likely faulty and should be replaced.
