How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect power and allow the cooker to cool before opening any covers.

  • Basic reset: Unplug the multicooker for 5–10 minutes, then plug back in and try a short program. If E1 reappears, continue.
  • Check external factors: Ensure the cooker is on a stable, level surface and the inner pot is correctly installed and not deformed.
  • Access the bottom sensor: Turn the cooker upside down on a soft cloth. Remove the bottom cover screws and carefully lift the cover.
  • Inspect NTC wiring: Find the two-wire cable from the center of the heating plate to the main PCB. Check for cuts, burns, or pinched sections. Reseat the connector on the PCB.
  • Measure sensor resistance (advanced): Using a multimeter on the kΩ range, measure across the NTC leads (with the cooker unplugged). A typical NTC at room temperature is around 50–100 kΩ. If it reads open (infinite) or 0 Ω, the sensor is defective.
  • Replace if needed: If the sensor is open or wiring is damaged, replace the bottom NTC temperature sensor assembly. If the sensor tests good but E1 persists, the main control PCB may need replacement.
