Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the multicooker before opening the housing. Capacitors on the PCB may retain charge; avoid touching bare contacts.
- Visual inspection: Remove the bottom cover and inspect the large wires going to the heating plate. Look for burnt connectors, discoloration, or broken terminals.
- Check connectors: Firmly reseat any spade or plug connectors on the heating element and PCB.
- Continuity test (advanced): With the unit unplugged, disconnect the heating element leads and measure resistance across the element. A typical value is between 20–60 Ω. Infinite resistance indicates a broken element that must be replaced.
- Inspect PCB: Look for burnt spots near the power relay or triac that controls the heater. If damaged, the main control PCB will need replacement.
Do not attempt to bypass the heating element or safety circuits. Replace the faulty heating plate assembly or main control PCB as required.
