Possible Causes

Lid not fully closed, Misaligned lid hinge, Faulty lid position switch or magnet sensor, Broken wiring in lid hinge harness

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Ensure the cooker is unplugged before mechanical adjustments.

  • Confirm closure: Close the lid firmly until you hear a click. Do not overfill the pot, as food can obstruct the lid from closing.
  • Clean gasket area: Remove and clean the silicone gasket and the rim of the pot. Food residue can prevent proper lid seating.
  • Check hinge alignment: Inspect the hinge screws and brackets. Tighten any loose screws and ensure the lid is centered.
  • Inspect lid sensor: Depending on the model, the sensor may be a microswitch or a magnetic reed sensor. Access the lid area and verify that the actuator (pin or magnet) aligns correctly with the sensor when closed.

If the lid indicator remains on despite proper closure and alignment, replace the lid position sensor or the entire lid lock assembly.
