Possible Causes

Blown internal fuse, Faulty power cord, Loose mains connection inside cooker, Failed main control PCB power supply

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the cooker before any inspection. Mains voltage is dangerous.

  • Check outlet and cord: Test the wall outlet with another device. Inspect the Eldom power cord for damage and ensure it is fully inserted.
  • Internal fuse check (advanced): Remove the bottom cover. Locate the inline fuse or PCB-mounted fuse near the power entry. Test continuity with a multimeter. Replace only with the same type and rating.
  • Inspect wiring: Verify that the live and neutral wires are securely fastened to the input terminals and that there are no burnt connectors.

If the fuse blows again immediately or the PCB shows signs of burning, the main control PCB or power components must be replaced by a qualified technician.
