Eldom
Pressure Not Building
Multicooker heats but never reaches pressure; steam constantly escapes from the lid.

Possible Causes
Damaged or hardened silicone gasket, Steam release valve stuck in open position, Lid not locking properly, Cracked lid or deformed inner pot rim
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Keep hands away from escaping steam. Allow the cooker to cool before detailed inspection.
- Check gasket: Remove the silicone sealing ring from the lid. Inspect for cracks, flattening, or hard spots. Clean with warm soapy water and reinstall evenly.
- Steam valve position: Ensure the steam release valve is set to the "Sealing" or pressure position according to the Eldom model markings.
- Clean valve: Disassemble the valve (if designed to) and remove any food particles. Ensure it moves freely.
- Inspect lid and pot rim: Look for dents or warping on the stainless rim of the inner pot and the lid sealing surface. Replace damaged parts.
If pressure still does not build after gasket and valve replacement, the lid lock or pressure sensor calibration may be faulty and require professional service.
