Possible Causes
Incorrectly installed silicone gasket, Worn or stretched gasket, Food residue on sealing surfaces, Lid not fully locked
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Do not touch leaking steam. Turn off the cooker and allow it to depressurize naturally.
- Inspect gasket installation: Once cool, remove the gasket and reinstall it, ensuring it sits evenly in the lid groove without twists.
- Clean contact surfaces: Wipe the lid groove and the top rim of the inner pot with a damp cloth to remove oil and food residue.
- Check gasket condition: If the gasket is loose, cracked, or permanently deformed, replace it with a genuine Eldom sealing ring of the correct size.
- Verify lid lock: Close the lid firmly until it clicks. Do not overfill the pot beyond the MAX line.
