Possible Causes
Worn membrane switches, Moisture under the panel, Cracked control panel PCB, Loose ribbon cable
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before working near the control panel.
- Dry the panel: If recently cleaned with liquid, allow the cooker to dry in a warm, dry place for 24 hours.
- Test all keys: Note which buttons fail; if an entire row or column is dead, suspect the ribbon cable or PCB.
- Internal access (advanced): Remove the top/front cover and reseat the ribbon cable between the keypad and main PCB.
- Inspect for corrosion: Look for green/white deposits on connectors; clean gently or replace affected parts.
- If keys remain unresponsive, replace the control panel keypad / touch membrane assembly.
