Possible Causes
Unplugged or loose NTC sensor connector, Broken NTC sensor lead, Damaged wiring harness between NTC and control board, Failed NTC temperature sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and let the cooker cool completely before opening any covers.
- Reset the unit: Unplug for 5 minutes, then plug back in and try a simple program like 'Keep Warm'. If E2 reappears immediately, continue.
- Inspect the inner pot area: Remove the inner pot and check the bottom of the cooking chamber. Ensure there is no moisture or food residue on the central temperature sensor area.
- Clean the sensor surface: Wipe the metal temperature plate and sensor area gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not scratch or bend the sensor.
- Check sensor connection (advanced): Remove the bottom cover. Locate the NTC sensor wires coming from the center of the heater plate to the main PCB. Ensure the connector is fully seated and not corroded.
- Visual inspection: Look for burnt spots, cut wires, or pinched cables near the heater plate.
- If the wiring and connector look intact but E2 persists, the NTC temperature sensor is likely open and should be replaced with an Electrolux-compatible sensor. If you are not comfortable working with internal wiring, contact an authorized service center.
