• Inspect non-stick surface: Look for scratches, peeling, or worn areas. Replace the inner pot if the coating is damaged.
• Check pot flatness: Replace the pot if it is warped and does not sit flat on the heater.
• Use oil or liners: Add a small amount of oil or use appropriate liners for sticky foods.
• If burning occurs even with a new pot and correct usage, the temperature sensor or control board may be misregulating heat and should be checked by a technician.
