Possible Causes
Overfilled inner pot causing boil-over into internal cavity, Blocked condensate collector or drain channel, Cracked inner pot, Damaged internal seals around heater plate
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker immediately. Do not operate with liquid inside the base.
- Remove inner pot: Check for cracks or pinholes. Replace if any damage is found.
- Inspect condensate collector: Many Electrolux models have a removable condensate cup on the side or back. Empty and clean it, and ensure it is properly seated.
- Clean drain channels: Wipe and clear any channels that direct condensation to the collector.
- Dry the interior: If liquid has entered the base, leave the cooker open and inverted slightly (without stressing the lid) to dry for 24–48 hours.
- If leakage recurs without overfilling and the pot is intact, internal heater plate seals or gaskets may be compromised and require professional service.
