How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before deep cleaning.
- Disassemble lid components: Remove the sealing ring, inner lid plate, steam release valve, and float valve.
- Soak parts: Wash removable parts in warm soapy water with a small amount of vinegar or baking soda to neutralize odors.
- Clean condensate collector: Remove and wash the condensate cup and its channel.
- Air out the cooker: Leave the lid open in a well-ventilated area for 24 hours.
- If odors persist, replace the sealing ring, as silicone can retain strong smells over time.
