Visible mold or residue in hard-to-reach areas of the lid or around the gasket.

Safety first: Unplug the cooker. Wear gloves if mold is present.

• Fully disassemble lid: Remove gasket, inner lid plate, valves, and any removable covers.
• Scrub with appropriate cleaner: Use warm soapy water and a soft brush to reach into grooves and channels. A mild bleach solution can be used on non-metallic parts if rinsed thoroughly.
• Dry completely: Allow all parts to dry fully before reassembly to prevent regrowth.
• Replace porous parts: If mold persists in the gasket or porous plastics, replace the sealing ring and affected components.
