Possible Causes

Normal expansion of metal parts, Relay switching on main board, Slight warping of inner pot base, Loose inner pot on heating plate

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Use caution when touching the cooker while hot.

  • Check pot seating: Ensure the inner pot is fully seated and making good contact with the heating plate. Rotate slightly to settle it.
  • Inspect pot base: Remove the pot and check for warping or dents on the bottom. Replace if significantly deformed.
  • Observe pattern: Occasional soft clicks are normal as relays switch and metal expands. Very loud or grinding noises may indicate a loose component.
  • Advanced: If noises are metallic scraping or rattling, unplug the unit and inspect the interior for loose screws or parts.

Normal relay clicks and mild pops are not faults and do not require part replacement.
