Possible Causes
Cooling vents blocked, Internal cooling fan failure (if equipped), Excessive ambient temperature, Dust buildup on internal components
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and allow it to cool completely before moving or cleaning.
- Check placement: Ensure the cooker is on a hard, heat-resistant surface with at least 10 cm (4 in) of clearance on all sides and above. Do not operate under low cabinets.
- Inspect vents: Locate the side or bottom ventilation slots. Use a soft brush or vacuum with a brush attachment to remove dust and debris from the vents.
- Avoid stacking: Do not place towels, cutting boards, or other items under or around the cooker that could block airflow.
- Cool-down and retry: After cleaning and repositioning, let the unit rest for 30–60 minutes, then try a shorter program. If E10 recurs quickly, the internal cooling fan (on models that have one) or thermal sensor may be faulty.
- Service needed: Internal fan or sensor replacement requires opening the housing and should be done by a technician.
