E12 appears intermittently; cooker may stop mid-cycle or fail to start some programs.

Safety first: Unplug the cooker before touching the control panel internals.

• Dry the panel: If the panel was recently wiped with a wet cloth or exposed to steam, unplug the unit and allow it to dry for 24 hours in a warm, dry place.
• Avoid harsh cleaners: Clean the panel only with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the panel.
• Check for physical damage: Look for cracks, lifting, or bubbling of the touch membrane. Physical damage often requires panel replacement.
• Power reset: After drying, plug in and test all buttons. If some keys do not respond or E12 reappears, the keypad ribbon or control board may be loose or faulty.
• Advanced repair: Accessing the keypad ribbon requires opening the housing. A technician can reseat or replace the control panel or main PCB.
