Possible Causes
Corrupted calibration data in control board, Faulty EEPROM, Control board firmware error, Power surge damage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before any extended troubleshooting.
- Power cycle: Unplug the unit for at least 5 minutes to allow internal capacitors to discharge, then plug back in and test.
- Try different modes: Attempt to start non-pressure modes (e.g., Sauté or Keep Warm). If all modes fail with E14, the issue is likely on the control board.
- Check for surge damage: If E14 appeared after a power outage or lightning storm, the board may have been damaged. Use a surge protector in the future.
- No user calibration: GreenPan multicookers do not typically allow user calibration of internal sensors. Do not attempt to alter internal components.
- Repair path: The main control board will usually need replacement to resolve E14. Contact a service center.
