Possible Causes
Excess moisture on internal connectors, Steam ingress through top vents, Condensation on control board, Inadequate drying after washing lid
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker immediately if you suspect internal moisture. Do not continue to operate it.
- Dry the exterior: Wipe down the outside of the cooker and lid with a dry cloth, especially around the control panel and top vents.
- Air dry thoroughly: Leave the lid open and the unit unplugged in a warm, dry room for 24–48 hours to allow internal moisture to evaporate.
- Avoid immersing lid: Do not submerge the lid or base in water. Clean only with a damp cloth and removable parts washed separately.
- Test after drying: After at least 24 hours, plug in and run a short, low-heat program with water. If E15 reappears, moisture may have permanently damaged the control board or connectors.
- Service if persistent: A technician can inspect for corrosion and replace the control board or harness if needed.
