Possible Causes
Failed secondary NTC sensor, Manual reset thermostat tripped, Loose sensor wiring, Faulty sensor input on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and allow it to cool fully. Do not attempt to reset any internal thermostat while the unit is hot.
- Allow full cool-down: Leave the cooker unplugged for at least 30–60 minutes to ensure any thermal cutout has reset.
- Check ventilation: Make sure the cooker is used on a hard, flat surface with several inches of clearance around it. Blocked vents can cause internal overheating.
- Inspect for external heat sources: Do not operate the multicooker directly under low cabinets or next to other hot appliances, as this can trigger overheat protection.
- Test again: After cool-down and repositioning, plug in and run a short program with water only. If E7 returns quickly, the secondary sensor or thermostat may be defective.
- Service recommendation: Replacement of internal thermostats or secondary sensors requires opening the base and should be done by a professional.
